    Prerequisite:

    		 Open to Law Enforcement and Military ONLY.  Students must provide proof of Police employment or Military membership at time of registration.

    Description:

    		 This course prepares current patrol officers and/or future SWAT officers to rapidly, cohesively, and confidently apply the principles and fundamentals of: individual and team movement techniques, entry techniques, use of diversions/distractions, room clearing, achieving situation control, security, communications and suspect handling techniques.

    This is an intense hands-on application of tactical team operation skills. The focus is safe, simple, efficient, and non-equipment specific room clearing techniques to resolve high threat situations, specifically as related to the serving of high risk warrant, barricaded subject, and hostage rescue.

    The officer will learn critical tactics and techniques that can be applied immediately upon completion of the course while integrating the application of the force continuum into all tactics and techniques.

    Class size is limited.  Additional classes will be scheduled on a quarterly basis.

    Equipment Needed:

    		 Once registered, the attendee will receive a Letter of Instruction (LOI) which includes an equipment and ammunition requirements list.
